Buying a second hand rib

I am just going to part with over 20 k on a rib - private sale - On completion i will get the vendor to sign my MCA bill of sale and also disclaimer to say that he has no Hp or outstanding loans secured on rib. Say 6 mths down the line Hp turn up & say they have an intrest or own % of boat - where do i stand ?

A newcomer to our website asks a perfectly reasonable question, and he gets riduled and belittled.
I guess I would get upset as well.
Respect, guys!

As it goes I bought a car recently which turned out to be a ringer so I totally understand that you want to cover all possible situations before you hand over your cash.

Is a little bit of banter too much to be expected on a web forum?
