bracket for fish finder help.

Hi,
i got a Raymarine Dragonfly for my RIB, which is a great piece of kit. unfortunately my console isnt big enough to have the mounting bracket bolted to it directly.... so i want a bit Heath Robinson and made a kind of bracket.... as you can see from the pictures it is a bit **** and a bit spiky, so i was thinking cant be the only person who has this problem. how do you do it... or how would you do it? is there anything off the shelf you can think of?

any help appreciated opcorn

Scanstrut – Scanpod - Deck Pod

i dont think that will lift it enough, that said i could install a rail on the front of the console and use the rail mounted one.
