Yes, that's right. I have a 100-lumen LED Lenser police torch and the night I bought it I shone the thing in my face to see if the brightness had dulled. I was still seeing a large yellow patch five hours later and shat my knickers thinking that I had permenently damaged my eyes. Beware: LED Lenser torches are insanely bright. The X21 I mentioned earlier is the brightest torch available at the moment. Oh, and it costs 240 by the way.

motorbike opps.....i thought bike bike, do motorbikes get MOT's if they do i doubt these will pass - too bright.

I came across some cyclist using these and they are blinding for on coming traffic esp. when they decided to go for cree headlamp as well.
