Errrrmmm... well, I didn't like to say it

What you're after will be out there for under 10k.

It's unlikely to be there at all for 5k though, unless it's a project or a money pit.

Brilliant engine, but the seating layout is not going to suit what you have said you plan to use the boat for.

As Nos says, you really need a seat per person and the cost of fitting them after (assuming you buy a boat with a suitable layout) is quite high.

It might be worth making your way across to the Sportsboat show on the 21st of May in Southampton, you will be able to get a good look at several RIBs and start forming ideas.

Seconded.

It doesn't look like a bad boat at all, but seating won't be cheap.

Extra seating

Could two single jockey seats be added to this boat without changing the stability of the boat ie, if fitted originally would the main seat be moved forward. What would be the cost of extra seating cost and would Hunber have to do it?. What are your thoughts and running costs of the engine, you mentiond that it was a good type.
Cheers Phil

The console is nicely forward, so adding two seats behind that should not cause too many problems. Certainly the boat will cope overall with the weight.

You can fit seats yourself, sometimes they are screwed to the deck other times they are bonded with fibreglass and resin.

Cost is down to how much you hunt around for second hand seats and how much of the work you do yourself, as a very rough estimate I would say 200 quid per seat and at least that again for fitting at a local boatyard.

Also have a search on here for what Ribnetters think of the Destroyer hull.
