I've done most of the hull already-the pics are towards the beginning of the thread.

I'm sorting everything I can in the warm and dry so I can fit the seats/console/electrics in big lumps.

We've got one of those isolators on Scruffy, and it's been a good reliable one compared to what we had before. Fits in that space rather nicely, by the look of it.

Building the underdeck loom.

I managed to get a lazy line through a 17' length of heatshrink and we pulled the wires through 2 at a time. Everything has coloured heatshrink identifiers on that follow through the whole loom.

the A-frame end will terminate in 2 or 3 Bulgin Buccaneer connectors.

How well do those self adhesive pads on the LEDs hold up to moisture? Thinking about using some of the white ones for internal lighting on the console as well. It'll be a bit dark in the bottom otherwise.

It was actually pure luck that it fitted.The flat piece that the fusebox/isolator is bolted to is actually part of a trailerboard cut to size. I had to modify the back of the box or the hydraulic lines for the steering would be jammed against it.

Nos, the tape is a temp thing only to put in position,
there after use a bed of silicoln or araldite thats how i normally fit them,

Not got a lot of progress to report for a bit-I'm waiting on some vinyl for a seat cover and some other odds and sods.

I did find someone selling the Lowrance EP60R fuel flow sender on Amazon at £85 last night so I'm waiting for that as well. He's got a couple left showing in stock so if anyone wants one PM me and I'll send them a link.

I found a pic earlier of the original wiring,which goes some way to explaining exactly why I tore the boat apart.

Everything in the pic is still connected up bar the trim wires as the throttle had been removed and the switch panel has been passed into the console.

Suicide seat backrest in construction now-need to find some really firm 1" foam. Looks liek I can't use Dry Fast or it'll be too soft and anyone on the suicide seat will get their back slammed into the console.

Well, more expense today.

A-frame is now off the boat and in the garage for a polish and rewire plus fitting new nav lights, VHF ariel and the spot/floodlight.

Sidescan and skimmer transducer leads appear too short. So, extensions for both.

Another £20 of 316 stainless fasteners.

Engine needed a new loom as well, so that's sat next to me...

Same as happened to the rest of the original wiring. Wired by a clown with a set of Halfords bullets and some hoover cable..

i put all mine in trunking, but think you have use flex or tryrated where its exposed, all boat builders use it most ie fairine use yy cable that we used on tescos king tuff flex and you get upto 27 cores

The 8 pin . The smartcraft loom is OK.

Console lighting working, and A-frame polished with stuff starting to go back on.

It's a great feeling when things start going BACK on the boat.
