Just gauging the current values of Seariders, is this a reasonable price?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=330305305583

I like the engine but would want something a bit tidier if i was interested in buying.

Cheers

I'd say that is tidy. Once the tubes have been inflated to full pressure it will look better. As for price, don't think it's too bad myself.
Check out Mat H's Searider thread

I wouldn't buy that either-if the guy can't be bothered to inflate the tubes for a pic then the rest of the boat is proably going to show the same lack of care. The trailer looks like an old caravan chassis-or something from one of the less reputable trailr manufacturers.
I'd view it if I was interested, but from the ebay listing the only thing I'd buy that for is the engine.

I have a 80hp Zodiac pro jet and it was not powerful enough to get a waterskier going, so i dont think a 40hp will be able to handle it. It would be good for towing a tube though.

But - Jets will never be as good as popping a skier as an OB - I had an 80 HP jetski - that strugged to pop me up - 50hp 4m rib copes fine.
