Atlantic 21, Pacific 22 or 28

Don't want a basket case but don't mind the work.

Family growing up need a bigger rib so looking for a project either an Atlantic 21 or an Arctic 22, alternatively if inboard a Pacific 28 (I think deck space on the 22 is to small with the inboard).

Tried all the usual suspects, but thought RIBNET might provide the answer.

thanks..

Hello,

Operate a Pacific with an inboard 250bhp diesel, good work boat but yes, the inboard takes up a lot of space.

Plus, being semi displacement, you go push through the waves rather that over them.

I got mine originally for £12k with twin 115's on it. He had bare boats kicking about at £4 - £5k depending on condition and I've seen a few around at this kind of money. You'll have more fun in an Arctic, faster but then much more costly on fuel ( I use 9-10 gallons an hour). If moneys no object you can go for a hull (£2-£3k), new tubes (£4.5k form Henshaws) new engines (£17K for twin 150s) .

Or perhaps you might fancy this one. I suspect there might be a deal to be had here. http://www.boatsandoutboards.com/view/PAA4627
