Hull detail

Thanks. There are similarities but I cannot see the detail of the hull in your photo. I was aware of the Flyer but did not know it was produced as a rib. Mine is 6m over the tubes. Quite narrow and very quick with a 90HP.

I think the salcombe flyer rib had a moulded deck .Ed Carter ,Rib Raff used to build a rib called an Olmec 6mtr very narrow beam , it may be worth checking with him

Thanks Guys

Thanks guys.
I have to admit that I have never heard of an Olmec 6.1 but the hull is identical and transom bracing is also exactly the same. I think this is a definite.
I'm keen to get a manufacturer's nameplate for it so this is a great start.
It has narrow beam and is very quick, even with a 90HP.
Tom

Bwm? The front part was added to a few hull types to get he magical 5% variant in hull design.

Olmec 6.1

Thanks - identical hull and transom. Different console and deck layout generally.
2002 sounds like about right. Tom
