Stuck it on the other one just to see all looked - I might even even sell it or swap for a stainless one don't know yet

Looks like a good clean hull Olly, tubes should come up well with a good scrub, have you tried anything on them yet?

Is that an attempt by a previous owner to raise the console cover with wood, if so are you going to leave it like that?

thanks murph, yes the hull is in superb order, much better than my other one - I've only tried a partial mix of traffic film remover, warm water and a sponge, that got a lot off green scum off tubes, anything you recommended as parts have gone kind of mouldy - and few splashes of paint here and there

Yes I'll probably keep in slightly raised as the seat base is also

Maybe a stronger mix of traffic film remover, but I wouldnt leave it on for long as you know its strong stuff. What about scotch pads for cleaning the rubbing strakes?

The low console height would be my only gripe about the searider, I'd like to try and raise my own aswell.

Any luck with a console cover?

I'd be tempted to put some neat TFR in a spray bottle. Wet the tubes with a hose, then spray the TFR on, then scrub it with a green scouring pad. Rinse off before it dries (and wear rubber gloves!)

I've got a very little amount of Toulean (spelling ) left from last years glue removal Olly.

There's not enough for the whole RIB but will tackle those worse areas with no problem. I've also got some nylon gloves you can have too.

Olly, if you see anymore S/S knocking about I am after an offcut 8" x 4" to mount a VHF ariel on.

Rib looking good, just so much easier with good facilities to use.

Pete I've got some 4x4", 3mm 316 plates if there any use? They've got a 12mm hole in the middle though. Let me know if they're any good and I'll pop em in the post.
