I dont bloody believe it. Every time I visited Ireland, I found that 1 = 1 punt. Even in the cash machines. A quaint little custom which made everything 17% dearer.

Ireland & punts

No objection at all to the punt except when someone thinks our rib is one

Hey there Irish colleagues on the forum was it one of you we saw at the boatshow with a big GAA t-shirt sporting 'Doire' colours?

And is it true that there's now a Chinese in Tullamore called 'Paddy Fields'???

Sorry, not helping this thread I know...

NO none of us was in a GAA shirt... Dont know about the Chinese either, but I have seen one in Dublin called that...

Jackeen, you live in Fareham??? is that the place near Southampton, where we found a plesent hotel called the 'Roundabout Hotel' ???? I think it use to be a former 'knocking shop' and the breakfast plates stuck to the tables And I tried to puke in the wardrope because I couldnt find the bathroom quick enough, But I made it in time.........

Good weekend

Yes sir you are correct
You picked one s... hole to stay in - someone doesn't like you !!!!

as to the character of the place I couldn't possible comment on the grounds of self incrimination

Remind me not to invite you to stay - we quite like our wardropes although i never taught of using them for that purpose

Must have been a good piss up mind you
