amazing weekend!

Well, sods law says the last weekend of june is rubbish weather cos its my birthday, how different this weekend was!

Left Hamble saturday lunchtime and zoomed over to chichester and picked up Richard and Mrs Richard. at first we couldnt see them at Itchenor quay but we saw the ringo before we say them!!

Trudge back up the harbour and out in search of flatter water!

Short hop to Priory Bay for some lunch! followed by some ringo action! couldnt manage to persuade the girls into the water but Richard decided it was a "challange" to ringo back so off we set, prioty bay to chichester with him behind us! outstanding effort!! when i get the chart chip from the boat will work out how far it really was!

Obviously needed to relax a bit so anchored at East Head to let the tide come in and to have a few drinks!

lovely relaxzed trundle back up the river watching hot air balloons taking off and back for some serious drinking!

Sunday morning didnt really happen to be honest and a quick blast back from Chichester to Hamble on Sunday afternoon was a perfect way to clear a rather fuzzy head. Coming through the solent at 2.45 there was no one about!!!

Perfect weekend in my book! Many thanks to Richard and Debs for looking after us and plying us with more wine than i care (or am able) to remember!

we have some great video clips which are currently rated 18 and are in need of editing to remove some choice words!! hopefully Richard can sort that in the next few days!

Was such a fantastic day out on the boat, brilliant company, loads of laughs, fantatstic boat!!!

Got some funny looks stood on the end of the pontoon with a ringo but no boat! so was quite pleased when Howard and Gwen arrived promptly

Fab day and laughs carried on way through the night till 4am at the caravan site.

Still aching from the ringo marathon towing session.

Awesome day! bring on the next trip out.

Richard and Debs

not us im afraid.

We were a bit slow getting started on saturday and didnt trundle down the hamble until about 12 ish taking the northern channel through eastern solent to chichester.

didnt really see many ribs out this weekend. a few well in on the shore at Priory bay but that was about it.

i was looking at some pics on MBY forum and the needles and around the back looked amazingly flat! by no means was it rough up the eastern end of the solent but it was no way near as flat as those pics!
