Fantastic. Prices I've been getting for one being made to spec don't seem quite right. I could buy a brand new rib almost.

Don't suppose you have any pictures do you with it fitted.?

Thanks very much.

Matt

The ebay one is ok for height etc for still getting it in the garage without the need to remove.

Does anyone have suggestions though about how to pack it out to bring it off the transom to avoid the steering arm and what to use or would i best getting it bent further out instead if it gives enough.

Im waiting for the seller to get back to me with some more measurements before taking the plunge.

I fancy one for my little SIB, but I have a feeling that it would foul the fixing points for my launching wheels. Also I would need to be able to remove it as I store my boat deflated and in its bag.

The eBay listing suggests that they make them up on site, you could ask them to adjust it for you though I messaged them earlier this month and havent had a reply..

Got double single masts on mine. I have cleats, nav lights, aerial and flags hanging off them. They are pretty substantial and don't move around.

Why not something to fit the launch wheel brackets or fixings ,
Though as long as the frame then doesn't stop the engine from turning too much.

Cheers, I plan on keeping the wheels on when in the water and flipping them up at an angle when not in use as my boat is only 2.9m and space is at a premium.

I was thinking of fitting a cross piece between the wheel struts when not in use to allow me to fit a rod rest and a clip for my vhf radio, I will check it out at weekend

Oh now you are making me blush!

It also gives me something to strap the skis to.

Have attached pics that show the frame, not all that technical I'm afraid but can take some more when I go to the boat in the next couple of days if anyone is interested. Lee

Thanks very much for those pics Lee.

If I can be really cheeky, if and when you get to the boat, could you grab the width measurement from between the two poles where the fix to the transom and also the height of the poles before the bend (base to bend). As the seller has not got back to me as of yet.

If not dont worry. I only ask as my transom is a different design to yours and i need to know if i will be able to tilt engine up under the frame and you can see in my first pic on page one how far across the steering arm comes so will have to bend it out / pack it out.

Ps ignore my PM to you about uploads of the pics as i hadnt checked the thread first

two quotes to make a similair size frame, in 316 stainless, and same 38mm are both 450 + VAT, so this seems too good to be true (if it works)
