Owning a SIB is all new to us!

We're just getting to grips with being new SIB owners, sorting out Life Jackets, Insurance etc etc. Before we actually take to the water. It's all very daunting, especially Insurance. A thread on here a while ago states that we need Small Boat Insurance and Craft Insure has been recommended. Just tried doing a quote and it says we need a 'Boat Name' - Do we really need to name our inflatable????
Any help would be appreciated

Yep, just give it a name, you only need to write it on the transom with stickers or even magic marker.

Just make one up you don't need to put it on your sib.

Welcome to Rib.net

I will let you use the name of my boat; which is..."The Boat".

As to lifejackets they don't do much good if you don't wear them. I hated wearing one until I got an auto inflate one that is compact and comfortable. Now I don't mind wearing it.
