Newbie from Southampton

Hey all,
Just joined so thought i would say hi. Not sure if this is the right place but couldn't find an introduction section.
Have been away from the water for a while but back now so on the look out for another RIB. Fancy a project as i work in Agriculture so summers are tough to get out on the water and the winters are quiet.
Last RIB was a Ribtec 645 with a 130 Honda (completely black so you may have seen it in Cowes.) Was called "Just for the Crack"
Anyway, have sent out some PM's on the RIBs listed for sale on here so maybe out on the water soon.

Hi all,

I am kind of lookng for something at least 6.5m and has to be diesel inboard.
As i work with big diesel engines, hydraulics and electrics as part of my job i think that diesel in a RIB is the way to go.
I have access to a mooring near my house and it is for a vessel up to 9m so think it would be a waste putting something smaller there, i am also quite keen to have a large RIB for a change so can maybe make up a frame and cover so i can sleep on it for odd nights away.
As i said, something with a blown or no engine would be good as it is going to be a winter project.
