i've not bought a rib yet but i'm desperate for a decent one, went to look at a bombard explorer sb 500 yesterday and put in an offer but i'm waiting to hear back, it had chips to the gelcoat though and a 50 evinrude etec, which i think might be a bit underpowered.

Also looking at a babu 6.6 with 115 yam on, but never heard of babu!

If anyone has one for sale around pembs or are willing to deliver to pembs then give me a shout.

i'm after a wide beam rib with plenty of space on prefereably 6m+ but under 7M, will consider 5m+ with the right layout.

You might get away with a 50 on a 5m, but a lot wil ldepend on how it's set up and how fast you want to go.....

Can't help with stuff in your area tho', sorry. Might be wirth "echoing" this post in the "wanted" section - with a title like that in this section you might not get as many preople looking to dispose of a boat as you might...
