Thanks for the welcome. We inherited a place up there on the other side from Bowness. The speed limit is a pain but liveable with for now.

Seen a few boats on " Boats and Ouboards" amazed at the number of scams!

May's pretty much a bust for me I'm afraid; am going back to the 'auld country' for a week (two weekends). Definitely would like to try the East Coast though so mebbe something in June/July?

Hi fellars
My missus and I have only had one trip out on our rib, we bought an avon 560 last year after getting rid of our cruiser. We are hoping to try a couple of hours around scarborough on Saturday. Forecast looks reasonable and we are desperate to get on the water.

Maybe a blast to Filey with our dog

We will be trying scarborough or brid but not for another month or so.
Maybe not the best time at the moment due to the flooding but the Ouse through York is nice if your just wanting to get on the water without going far.

Evening all, quick update. Picked up a Searider SR4 4m on Saturday, Bought it from a chap on here, although now living in teh south, he is from Ilkley so a proper Tyke! Was better than the pics, got a a DT55 Suzuki on the back.

Taking it out on Windermere next weekend so will report back an post some pics.

Scubadave, where is the best place to get on if going through York please?
