Taking a SIB to Spain for hol's

Hi all,

As we take regular caravan holidays to Spain (Vilanova i le Gultri, Just south of Barcelona), I would like to ask about any limitations of SIB size and engine size,

We are thinking of a 3,4 M (or there about) with a 15 HP strapped to the transom.
We would plan to roll or fold up the SIB, and engine, in the back of our estate car.

Essentially for just playing about on the water.
Gra.

Bombard Aerotec + 15hp 2-stroke. Light, compact and the most fun for the money.

I believe you need a license for 15hp engines, I think the limit is 13,5hp.
And of course, you need insurance.

But things have changed a lot from 2 years now. This is, since 2014 you can get a Spanish license for 6m and any reasonable power with a 4 hours practical lesson and a 2 hours theorical lesson, no need for exams now. This title allows you sailing 2 miles from shelter.

Also, a British license can do the job.
