Some nail polish remover has oils, moisturisers etc - go for pure acetone.

MEK is a REQUIREMENT for PVC boats.

Acetone does not sufficiently melt the PVC to promote adhesion.

Zodiac calls for a minimum 10cm round patch for air leaks.
