Is it easy to hire a SIB - presumably I'd need to have done RYA course first?
Hi Chris,

Not sure about hiring a SIB in Salcombe - but have hired Dorys and other small hard boats before - with no qualifications I think.

Sure am but after lots of deliberating my shortlist of the two SIBS I was after was a Zodiac Fastroller 325/340 and a Honwave 3.2 airdeck. Picking up a lovely 340 this weekend (with a Tohatsu 9.8 2 stroke ) but would still like to have a Honwave to try too...

OK, let me know if you change your mind - just to add you might need to re-think the price though! Brand new, g'teed and delivered from a UK Honda dealer the same package is 2650....

Paulsmyth45,

You know it does'nt come with that! That is why you asked the retorical question?

What does the above ammount to 300!

Does that justify you asking a newcomer 2,500?

He's a newcomer looking for help, not looking to be fleeced.

Your bit of kit is worth 1500 tops.

Max highlighted the fact in a very subtle way. I'm saying it how it is.

I would be delighted to hear from others, with their view of the valuation of your outfit?

Shame on you paulsmyth45

There are a lot of 'inflated' (sorry ) prices asked for Honwaves and similar TBH considering the dealer offers on factory fresh brand new 2 year guaranteed outfits - watched dozens of outfits lately as I'm looking for a clean 3.2m. A few examples of values here of sold and unsold (eBay is a guide nothing more of course) - some bigger smaller boats/engines but it gives an idea:

honwave t35 penta 2 3.53m rib v botom 15hp 4 STROKE inc | eBay UK

honwave t380,outboard,trailer,boat,inflatable,a1 con | eBay UK

Honwave Inflatable With 5HP honda outboard | eBay UK

Honwave Inflatable Boat (RIB) with Honda Engine | eBay UK

Honda Honwave T38-IE with Honda BF20 SHU Outboard | eBay UK

Honda Honwave TS38 inflatable with Honda BF20SHU Engine | eBay UK

So 2650 plus 300 quid = 2500? I'm not holding a gun to his head to buy it! I was saying that what I'll let it go for! Sorry if you thought different

What's the difference between Zodiac Fastrollers, some are Cadet and some are Classic and so on, what's up with that? And which one of them should you go for?
