D class

Ive just been offered an Ex RNLI D Class In Px for one of my boats, now i have to admit I'm more than a little tempted and i have a 30HP short shaft lying under cover in the garage at the moment anyone got one or know what they're like, they look wicked and have seen them out on exercise but never had the pleasure of helming one!!

They and really fun. You'll have to get the feel for them as they can capsize if using to much throttle in rough weather. What D class is it. IB1?

If the transom hasn't been cut down then it will be a 17", neither long or short shaft. The RNLI engines are specifically modified to suit. They are good fun, but very tiring if helming for any distance.
