Next question...

It's an air floor with a separate keel.

What pressure for the air floor? Is it about 1 bar like the usual airdecks? I don't really want to pop it. There was no manual with it.

Nos...I emailed Seago that question (kieron@seagoyatching.co.uk). After a couple of nudges they said 2.5psi. The manual - let me know if you need a copy - says 3psi. Don't believe it, that seems well low. Been reluctant to increase beyond that though.

Hmmm - the QS is taking 6.X PSI in the keel. Hard to imagine that they're that different?

Cheers guys-I'm glad I didn't go buying a Bravo BST12.then-looks like my low pressure Bravo pump will do it.

Perhaps. The airdeck in the QS is 11psi, dunno about Seagos?

What setup is the QS floor? Is it a keel under a separate floor too?

Yup. The keel is loosely held under the airdeck. The pressure in the airdeck is very high to get the rigidity to hold the boat in the correct shape. It's fairly much as hard as a plank when in use. The pressures are critical if you intend to plane the SIB, so getting accurate data is important.

I've had 18kts in mine - it's not a format that inspires confidence at those speeds - helluva larf tho

I'm sceptical about the Seago 2.5psi (email enquiry)/3.0 psi (handbook) - these figures are for all round: tubes, floor and keel.

At that pressure the floor has the structural rigidity of a blancmange But, I don't want to burst it by experimenting.
