Aerotec measurements

Anyone have their Aerotec inflated at the moment?

I've carefully packed mine for hols in just over a week without taking some measurements I need re the possibility of car topping it a short distance while on hols.

I'd like to know the interior width between tubes, the overall boat width and the width between the tube top grab "rails".

If anyone could help much appreciated.

Appreciate the link but it's really the width apart of the grab rails that run along the tube tops that's most important. I could guestimate from knowing the inner and outer widths but would be happier with an actual measurement.

Aerotec measurements

Mines inflated but unfortunately I'm 200 miles away from it, sorry.
Internal width of mine is 740 ( previously measured) and tubes 460 diameter. If grab rails were on c/l then would be 1200mm but I think they are slightly outboard (say 25/50mm) so probably about 1250/1300mm.
Only a guesstimate though.

Aerotec measurements

Found another couple of pics. The outer bunks on trailer are 1200mm apart o/a plus 20mm of foam. Grab rails slightly wider so 1250 ish can't be far out.

PS. Wrinkly bottom due to tubes and floor inflated to half pressure. 😀

Oh that's great... as near as I need to know for roof rack purposes. Just that I wanted the cross bars to be at least as wide as the grab rails so I wasn't loading the tubes inside that point onto narrow cross bar ends.

I'm far too polite to comment on a wrinkly bottom!

David - mine's inflated but due to ongoing work in the garage I cannot get to it without BIG difficulty - happy to sort if essential though...

Cheers Max but Chipko's images added to him knowing the bunk spacing in that image is good enough for my purposes.
