Wanted new 10m trailer

We had ordered a new trailer for the new race boat from Bramber but it seems they have been bought by someone who hasn't informed any of his new staff what to do with existing orders or anything else, I am therefore looking for a replacement. The boat and trailer should be rated for 3495kg and take a 34' boat, the hull is stepped so we'll want bunks, bearing savers and a flushing system - anyone want to give me a price?

Hi Cookee,

Try Gullwing trailers. www.gullwingtrailers.co.uk

Ask for Bob, he is very helpfull and reasonably cheap...

I just got my trailer from them and wheels flush nice - 5 year warranty on bearings too!!

Kernow (Jeff) also got his from him early this year - dont know if he does bunks though...

Mike

Hi Cookee,

Have a chat with John at Nicholson Trailers he made a great job of the trailer for my 7 ton 11 meter Rib six wheels with bearing savers and at a sensible price!

Callum.

I'll second Gullwing-he was at Penmarlam last time I went there and we spent quite a while gassing. Nice bloke and he really knows his stuff.

Callum.
What axles are they they must be rated at over 2.5 ton each? Or is it 7 ton on the trailer also what do you road tow it with. My rib comes in at 4 ton and I'm having a hard time getting the road tow sorted legally.

loooks a nice trailer by the way

also cooks don't overlook Riba http://www.riba.be/index2-holland.html you might have to use balefish

10 mtr Trailer

The axles are rated to 2 ton each John at Nicholson trailers offered to fit a fourth axle, 7 ton is the Rib full of diesel 1000ltrs and all the kit including the kitchen sink. The tow unit is a John Deere tractor the Rib is dry berthed at the marina. It would be hard work to tow it legally!

Thanks It would have been a bugger to turn with 4 axles

Problem solved - following a visit to the Bramber stand at the boat show it seems my order is still in place and I will have it in about 10 days! Thank you for all the suggestions, very much appreciated!

Cookee,

I have been away and only just spotted your post. If you have any demand for trailers in the future we are agents for SBS Trailers and only located just down the road from you in Plymouth so should be able to help. All our standard trailers can be viewed at www.southcoasttrailers.co.uk and we are happy to quote for anything out of the ordinary.

Trailer is on it's way, but it would be good to have a price for a R4 3500 that would fit a 34' hull on with brake flushing and a spare wheel and carrier. Cookee@bananasharkracing.com - Thanks!
