Retro Fitting Breaks to Trailer

Is this remotley possible ?

I have a great trailer but it is un braked

What I want to to do is get a hand brake fitted

I guess it is only a case of getting it down to the local Indespension place and having new axle and lever fitted ?

It'll be very expensive and a whole load of grief with corrosion compared to unbraked. A set of chocks would be easier.

I asked for a quote once from a caravan/trailer place, and was told not to bother as it would be cheaper to sell and buy one breaked!

Agreed, if you don't legally need brakes stay well clear of them.
