I want to add rollers to the back of my trailer. I've had to get some work done to the trailer already so my funds are limited to 4 X twin ribbed rollers and posts. (trying to find the cheapest supplier too)
I just can't make my mind up where to put them so thought I'd ask you good people.
Have attached a photo of the trailer and a diagram if you fancy downloading it and showing me where you would put them.
The axle has been moved further back since the photo was taken to get the right nose weight.
I think I need to explain myself a little better here. I want to fit sets of rollers as near to the back end of the trailer as possible for launching and recovering easier.

When I recover I need some rollers right near the first centre keel roller from the back.
I'm just having a problem of where to mount them.
That's what I was thinking mate, I can also move the axle back abit more as (according to the bathroom scales) the nose weight is still a little light. So there is the possibility of making a swinging arm connected to the axle frame. Trouble is I'm a paranoid bugger and would be thinking the fixxings would break everytime I launch.
Nos, what would you say the ideal gauge for box section to take the weight of the hull as it sits on the rollers? I expect I wont need anything like the gauge the trailer frame is made off?

I'd use the same thickness-it'll take a lot of weight during recovery.

You should be OK with one each side. I'[d be tempted to do it the way Hallmark did it on my SR4 trailer though (see below)-the rollers were all bolted up so hard they couldn't pivot. Those zintecced posts never look very strong to me.

Niceone sounds like a plan! Hard to see, is that two rollers onto two bunks mate?
That is, yes but the 2 rollers centred the boat perfectly so the bunked part is irrelevant. On yours that setup should line your hull up nicely with the keel rollers.
