Toronto Boat Show...

...started this weekend and runs through until next weekend. There isn't usually much by way of RIBS... Hurricane and Nautica usually exhibit, but there some great deals on electronics etc...

Re: Boat show

I assume you are going Stoo... correct? Take some pictures of anything interesting if you can. Cleveland is running it's boat show right now but I don't know if I will go or not, I have been to Miami's about eight times and that ruined me for anywhere else, they have so much stuff... if I recall correctly last time I was down there they had 450 boats at the convention ctr and about that much in the water. I would think Toronto has a much better show than Cleveland though.

There tends to be a zillion smaller exhibitors with various accessories, electronics etc. The larger yachts come and go... I think the the displays reflect the economy and fuel prices!

Hurricane generally has a display with one boat and some SAR accessories.

And then there's REALLY a lot of fishing gear!

I will probably head down Wednesday... we're getting plastered with freezing rain and snow over the next 24 hours!

Show report...

Same old, same old.

Few RIBS.. even Hurricane had "stuff", not boats...

I bought a funky little GPS thing for my truck though!

I agree - the boat shows lately have been fairly boring - nothing new and not much in the way of RIBs. It's too bad that more RIB manufacturer's don't exhibit at the shows.

I'm going to the New England Show in February to check out what's new at Ribcraft. I'm told they're exhibiting there this year with a few boats.
