Great pics ltf! Orange bathtub has to win for ugliest boat. I've never seen anything like it.

That black super rib looks incredible. Wonder what it is and how it performs.

Were the Tall Ships impressive? Didn't see too many in your pictures.

Thats a classy tall ship. Don't see much like that over here.

Best I can do is this one called the Waverley.

Great pictures! I'm glad to see you got a bunch of them up. They came out real well. Since our trip, Mrs Ribfan and I boated to Newport again, only this time, we went into town, docked, walked around, had lunch and spent some money. All in all a good time. Thanks to Scott, I have discovered a great place to cruise.

Hopefully, we can do something together later this summer. The Block Island run sounds promising.

By the way, while we were in Newport, I came upon a marine shop that had pictures and information that indicated that ARC is again building boats. Whitey, who was part of the original company is the builder. It appears they are making a 7 meter (23' 10") model . The pictures looked interesting. I left a card, but have not heard anything back yet. If I do, I will post. I'm not replacing my Ribcraft 6.5, but it never hurts to look.

Bill
