Rib Cruise/Meeting in in WA or OR?

Anyone want to get together for a cruise somewhere? Puget Sound? Columbia River? Off the coast? What about our brothers from another mother up in Canada, eh?

San Juan Islands?

Last year I had some injuries that kept me from doing anything, but I am ready for a weekend jaunt!

Any takers?

What do you think about Victoria to Friday Harbor? We can run near the eastern shoreline and then cut across near Chatham Islands.

how about Anacortes to the San Juans and to Victoria??? That way you do not have to pay the crazy fees to ride the ferry to the Islands. John if you get a Friday off we need to get together and do some cruising around, I might have to come up that way for the Rose Festival and look at the ships. How close do they let you get to them now days before the Coast Guard comes and talks to you??

Stan,

I just got back to my computer. I did have a half day, but I have to work tonight. There is a 300 yard perimeter around the vessels.

What is your day like tomorrow?

I am up for Anacortes to Friday Harbor and on to Victoria. It would be nice to meet up with some other folks and camp on one of the islands.

The third week in July looks good for me. Any other dates?

Tim, would that work with you? We can meet you on the east side of Victoria and then cruise back to the islands together. Or if you know of more people that would like to get out for a weekend.

John

john, I am planning a trip up to the San Juans via Anacortes and maybe up into Victoria labor day weekend for some diving and exploreing. I am going down to Medford over the 4th of July weekend and hope to bring the SR so longer trips are out for July. I do plan on going and playing/diving off the OR coast this summer. Looking at heading over there this weekend if conditions stay calm and find someone who wants to go diving out there.

Crud!

I will be at Cape Disappointment Labor day weekend. For the 4th, my family and I will be Lake Billy Chinook for the week. What is your schedule like in August or any other weekend?

I can drive to Astoria and would like to cruise around the mouth of the Columbia. Never been in that area in a vessel.

John,

I have Friday and Sat. off, I am thinking of launching in clatskanie and cruising up to Astoria one day this summer, the girlfriend and I have talked about it, it would be a all day cruise, probably stop refuel and the boat and ourselves in Astoria. Head out in a morning and just make a day off it. That would make fro a nice cruise eh??

Sounds good. I have every other Friday off along with the weekends. This my Friday off, but I am heading north to Seattle from my brother's graduation.

I have launched from there several times and gone through the slough out towards Puget Island. I know that area well.

Let's pick a date to go.
