East Coast Rib trip

Greetings- Newbie to ribnet, but not to Ribs.

My question is...

Has anyone ever traveled a long distance in their Rib? And when I mean a long distance I mean multiple days away from home port.

Lets here the stories.

You'll be wanting to here from Rogan and his Bro'... Chicago to the Gulf in a SIB.

We often take multi-day camping trips up here in the Lakes. There's a thread with a few pics someplace...

Edit: Here ya go... http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?...ight=killarney

(Ya, i know it's not the ocean, but it was along the east coast of Manitoulin Island!)

Not a RIB/SIB, but a pretty good read nonetheless:

here's a link to a circumnavigation I did in a RIB:

http://www.biodieselmagazine.com/art...rider&page=all

and here is one of many links you can find about Alan Priddy's record setting circumnavigation in a RIB

http://soc.offshore-expeditions.com/

- there are many stories of long ocean voyages in RIBs, across all the oceans and around most continents, and in some of the most challenging waters on earth.....try searching here on ribnet, in RIB Magazine and the other dedicated international publications. if anyone happens to know of a source where all the interesting RIB expeditions are listed I would enjoy learning about it.....

Stoo-

What speeds do you get in your 590 w/ that 150?

I notice your aux. tanks on the arch, do you manually pour the gas into the main tank or do you just connect them in to the inlet side of the filter?
