Heres one we took at yarmouth earlier this year... I have a bullet cam, plugged into my canon camera. Liking the idea of the hdd recorder though, think that will be coming in the new year!

Ahhhaa
whats the resolution of you cam?
also i think by using the bullet cam i can make it a permanent fixture.
I found a ram mount with an aqua box that fits onto the console quite nicely

I can't remember the resolution, Alex Brown will know for sure, ill ask him later today.

All of the wiring in my boat is above deck, so I ran the why down the outside of the aframe, and through the trunking on my floor and into the jockey seat. Then I just put my camera in a waterproof bag in the jockey seat and plugged it in. I should have padded it more in that movie... was a rough day!

Thanks Tony
If your console is quite a way forward, I'd suggest you try and mount your recorder on the transom, or as near to the transom as possible to reduce the impacts on the hard disk drive if you go down the Archos route.

My DV camcorder works great when in the waterproof bag right at the back of the boat strapped to the a-frame - I haven't seen any issues yet with the recording, but we've only been out in waveheights upto 5metres so far.

edit: just seen benc's msg - 380tv lines (yes, the new one is better, and for the same price too), 582x500 effective pixels (again, the new one is better), goes down to 0.5lux, and is completely submersible
I got mine from www.rfconcepts.co.uk at the beginning of this year after seeing the videos a few of my mates took when out cycling from their helmets.

Yes Tony my friend I see plenty wrong about it.....Get a life.
Its bad enough that a petrol gauge exists let alone a replay of yawn!!!!!!!

Spend your money on TTP`s (tea time pints), never mind the bullshit epitaphs...

I ordered one a few days ago. Its great really good quality and very good interface to use while on the move. It absorbs very hard bumps and it is fully waterproof. I wil post a clip when i get some good footage.
