Rule Pump Base

Hi I have snapped one of the lugs on my Rule 1100 Auto pump. It is the round blue bracket / basket type thing that you screw to the deck.

Since some people have gone through a few of these I was wondering if anyone has got one spare?

Thanks

Chris

As it happens mine failed over the weekend and had to replace quickly. The nearest chandlers did not have a Rule (hoping to just change over the motors part) so had to replace the whole unit for another brand.

So I have a base if you would like, and sorry to out bid Tim, but if you let me have the postage back, its all yours.

Steve

The Attwood Sahara 500 has an equally duff base/strainer

Anyone got one lying about? Beer vouchers on offer

Sorry Chris I have just double checked and the pump is a Piranna 600, so my base may not be any use. I thought it was a Rule as it was a Rule float switch.

See picture to see if suitable

Bilge Base

As a workaround when my Sahara broke I just ran a piece of 1 inch webbing under the base, screwed it back down and used snap connectors to fasten the webbing over the top of the pump. It looked quite neat, held the pump in place, still worked and was easily removable.

Neat. Unfortunately my Sahara base is in pieces and gone. Some clown stood on it . New stainless cover/grill fitted over the well but need a new pump base.

Bilge base

Diving weights dropped on deck have a similar effect. Bilge cover is HIGH on the list of improvements on my this boat for just that reason
