So, is everyone in agreement that the small tube type reflectors are useless? We need fit our dive rib out with a decent one soon, echomax type then?

Mick, don't underestimate the loads created by the "dustbin" when the going gets lumpy. The bracketry needs to be , ahem, substantial.

Hi all,
Thought this might be interesting. It's a how-to on making radar reflectors out of CDs. What I like most about it other than low-cost and effectivness, is it stores flat (take'm apart) and you can make as many as you feel is needed.

R-reflector out of CDs: Really Lightweight Radar Reflector built with CDs
