Praise due to Garmin

Just thought it only right to sing the praises of Garmin. I know it's been done many times before, but half an hour ago a completely new 2006C replacement plotter turned up on my doorstep. The original (bought last year) suffered from moisture condensing internally on the screen so i sent it back. I only sent them the main unit, but they've sent me an entirely new boxed set, so I've now got a spare aerial, power lead, bracket etc as well.

First class service

Keith

Yes, superb but it..........

........makes me wonder why all manufacturers can't be so obliging. E.g - my Russel Hobbs kettel, my Sharp CD Radio both of which went in the bin

Garmin

I can only 2nd this. I sent my fishfinder off to Garmin as it had stopped working and they sent it back saying they could find no fault and therefore it must be the power cable, a new one of which they enclosed, at no cost.

Excellent Service!

I'd be more inclined to sing Garmin's praises if we didn't have quite so many examples of their outstanding customer service! Significantly, we don't hear nearly as much about that of Raymarine.
