Just to say that I have had very good after sales service from Navman.
At Ribex this year I spoke to their rep about problems with my Fishfinder. He responded by climbing on board and putting his arm in the water and adjusted the transducer for me. A couple of weeks later the chartplotter packed up due to water getting in . I returned the chartplotter to them and made one telephone call and a replacement was with me within a week.

Fault Located

Hi

Got boat in the workshop over the xmas. waited for gap in mince pie rota.

Disconnected all electrics/electronics tidied wiring and reconnected everything. It all works fine now.

presume it was a bad earth or power feed/high resistance.

Sorry for doubting Navmans product. The only worrying part is none of my calls to Navman were returned and my 2 e-mails to their 'contact' via their web site got no reply!

Thanks ribnet guys for comments and advice given
