Navionics Charts Update

Probably not news to anyone other than me !!

Found out that you can exchange your old Navionics memory cards for nice new up to date ones, costs 25% of the full price.

Really good service just posted them of to these guys, http://www.navionics.com/DealerList.asp?countryid=UK
and got the new card back 48hrs later.

ok here is the scoop

if you have an older type format card and want to upgrade it to a different card and get the latest map then they will give you a 50% discount for trading in your old card against the new card and map, how cool is that

apparently Tony Blair has plans to move us closer to the USA, but i think the Isle of White is staying where it is...

i have an idea regarding the cards so will spill the beans if it works out ;-)

I'm not clear about what's being offered by Navionics....

Are the two offers described by Pete and Chris different ones?

IIRC, Navionics do two types of cards - Navionics Classic (B&W) and Navionics Gold (coluur).

What are these offers, chart corrections? or the opportunity to upgrage from Classic to Gold when we B&W chartplotter users upgrade to colour?

Why would you want to change from a cf type card to a mmc card?
