manual searchlight

I once saw a small searchlight that could be mounted on the side of the console with a handle. It ws white and of Italian manufacture. It was about 4 inches across. and I think it was an alloy case.
I can't find one anywhere to buy, anybody ever seen one like it or know the manufacturer?

I've seen people using 4x4 work lights (for example http://www.devon4x4.com/component/op...howcaticons,no) which can either come with flood or spot light lenses. These are usually far cheaper than marine lights ...

The 4x4 ones are usually for horizontal mounting. The one I am thinking about was on a bracket meant for vertical mounting and swivels around to point pretty much anywhere.
It would be ideal for the drivers side of my console where it could be reached from the drivers seat and wasn't too large to be obtrusive.

The spot on my rib might be what your after, from a mounting point of view.

I have put a spike on the a frame, which allows the movement you're after, and another socket on the dash for moving the light forward. No spike in case some one falls.
