Try looking for "Liquid Whipping". Its the stuff that you can dip ropes into if you cant use whipping twine.

That looks like the stuff.

7 quid a pot doesnt seem that much compared to most things nautical.....

anyone tried this stuff? does it work?

Its a small pot!

I have used some in-line bullet connectors and it has sealed them very well. I never quite got round to coating the spade connectors on my switch panel.

You have to work fast with it as it dries quickly.
