Fair. I was wondering if it was one of the demountable ones Avon fit to the front or back of the console but the pic isn't very clear.

If it is, then it's powered via a Bulgin Buccanneer connector that's fitted to the back of the console and the pole slots into a tube.

I bought this mainly for somewhere to mount my VHF Ariel as I need it as far away from me as possible due to electrical interference.
Planning to make it so it either hinges down a third of the way up or as Nos has said, fit's into a mounting tube. Not sure if it's going to one side of the transom, just in front of the engine or behind or in front of the console.

"You were bidding against me" is the title heading for the Gecko Helmets I bought so I guess you bought this Nav light when I pulled out. Hope the light is good as I was unsure if I could use it

Sorry, if I had seen this post earlier I would have sent you a message first before bidding.
Flaming dear postage though!

Since finding out I don't want anymore weight at the transom I've been working out where to put this. Could you see any problems with the idea in pic 1? (pic 2 is just for ref) Besides it being in the line of view.

I think that's where Avon mount them on one of the SR5.4 variants

When I had the SR4 I was looking at a transom clamp mount Nav. light pole Avon had advertised (a bit like a single outboard clamp off an Aux with a 6' pole attatched), but only ever saw Cad pics of it.... The new boat had a frame, so I never chased it up.

An A frame would be the best option but the down side is weight. That 115 donkey is becoming a pain. The script is I need to get the VHF Ariel as far away from me as I can.
Think this is the best option?
