EGNOS on or off?

New Inmarsat set to be/has launched recently, does anyone know if EGNOS is now functioning all the time?

Will it show on my Garmin 72 as "3D" fix?

For a 3D fix the receiver needs at least 4 satelites in view. Egnos will not change the receivers ability to see more satelites, it will just improve the accuracy of the ones it can see.

Egnos is on at the moment but is not officially comissioned. More details from ESA

On my Gps I have just turned it back on after it was making it do all sorts of weird things last year.

Well I've just been playing with my GPS and it is consistenly picking up satelite 33 and saying it is using WAAS with a predicted accuracy of only 6 feet. I presume EGNOS is now functioning.
