We've got 2 automatic Rulemate pumps in the splashwell fitted now. Cheap ones get knackered too quickly!!! Wired up to power isolator (with fuses obviously). When you have divers come back in they tend to bring a lot of water with them!
This way, no worries about shifting water quickly. Very reliable so far!

Remember we're not all the same. Some of us have to leave our ribs longer and sometimes it rains a lot unexpectedly. One can only call it as it happens and I have bad memories that's why I went back to separates. I do carry a charger on the rib at all times. Sent from my iPhone using Rib.net

I've stopped using rule pumps as I've had a couple of failures, (impellers coming loose on drive shaft), seems to be since they moved production to Mexico.

I now fit Attwood Sahara pumps, with the built in mechanical float switch, or a Johnson cartridge pump, with electronic switch.
