Yamaha remote friction level

Does anyone know how to increase the friction level in the Yamaha remote control: 6X0-48206-12-00.

This is the side mounted, fluah fittingone that goes on the side of the console.

Not sure about the sidemount, but on the topmount unit, you remove the cover, and it's just below the pivot.

Shouldn't be too hard to find, as there shouldn't be a whole lot of exposed screwheads exposed without an obvious dedicated function. As I recall, the friction adjustment is a fairly large slot-head screw.

The problem is that there is nothing exposed. The rest is behind the console and almost impossibleto see!
