Yamaha Install, Advice Please

Having sold the Mariner that came with my RIB, I am now getting ready to rig the boat with the Yamaha 90 I have purchased.

So who would you recommend to get throttle cables and battery leads and fuel lines made for you at the right sizes please?

Hope that is not a silly question, been on ebay but the main guy on there I think I've heard story about.

Many thanks

Toby

Battery cables you can get made to measure. Spend the extra and get marine tinned ones. Ebay is the place. Oh and get nice thick ones too.

Further to the pm i think force 4 aell cables. Are you fitting hydrualic steering?

Ive used welding cables on boats for years 15 years on the ones on my little rib are still fine
Throttle cables come in 1ft increments you just buy to suit fuel hose should be marine as it has a better fire resistance than auto hose

Could be many things from a simple blocked fuel filter to low compression and many things inbetween
More info needed to make any informed suggestions
The good thing it they are a simple old school engine so relatively easy to fix
Although can be expensive depending on parts required

The engine came from a Boston Whaler where the battery was much closer to the engine than it will be in my RIB.

The current cables I would have thought to be original Yamaha kit, it's really nice stuff with + & - joined down the middle.

Where could I source similar cable please?

You can get welding cable off ebay or any good welding suppliers but if your extending the length then increase the diameter by a good percentage to compensate for the extra volt drop.
When it comes to battery cables big is definately better
