Last time I looked the Merc/Mariner 6hp 4 stroke is actually a Tohatsu and is available either with integral or remote tank.
We are potentially capable of selling these or indeed 2 strokes (the joys of not being part of the EU) VAT free. Give us a call to discuss further.

Yes, but two have sold over here since you started looking. They DO pop up in the UK (I know, I bought one). If you're serious, put an automatic search on fleabay and keep a daily eye on B&O, AppallingDuck, sorry, Apolloduck and findafishingboat. Two months tops and you're sorted.

have been checking B&O, and have a ebay search set up. I noticed one was for sale in Ireland about a week ago.

Also, bear in mind there's nothing quiet about a 4-stroke 4/5/6 hp Merchatsoo.

Tohatsu is 1st choice for 6hp as same engine as merc but cheaper, but I think I have a Tohatsu 9.8 lined up

Good on yer! (nothing over here since)

Check what ratio of 2 smoke oil they were using - Toohotsue say 50:1 but you'd be surprised who doesn't know that

In fairness, if they haven't had the t1ts revved off 'em on 100:1 there's probably no worries.
