Chris

Hi.

Myself and Codprawn love the Suzuki DT Fuel injected two strokes.
Although not as frugal as the newer EFI two strokes I find my 200HP reasonable considering the price they go for.

They are also quite simple to work on.

Would this be a 3 or 4 cylinder?

I think the 115HP is a V4, but cannot say for sure.

Have a look at a couple of the american forum sites for some detail.
When I get home tonight I'll post a link to a good site thats in my favorites on my PC.

The other place I know off the top of my head is Browns Suzuki. Again an american site, but this dealer has an on-line gallery of microfiche type images for lots of Suzuki engines.

This may be of interest

http://www.suzukimarine.com/sr99/teccomp/suz115ev.htm

It's an inline 4.

http://www.suzukimarine.com/sr99/specs/spec150.htm

I see it's about 50lbs lighter than most 4 strokes and a lot cheaper to buy!!!

Looks like it's only 20" shaft but that is fairly common with engines of that size - just make sure it will fit.

As Nasher says I love my 2 stroke and at anything over 1/2 throttle it seems no worse on fuel than a 4 stroke!!!

Smart, providing it comes with a service and a 3 month garentee then you can't go wrong for the money.

I was looking at a Yam 150 HPDI today and that was a year 2000 with over 400 hours....£4000.
