SR6 Steering

Avon installs the Teleflex "Big T" helm on the SR6.

Mine had been removed prior to me getting it. Why can't I just install the "Safe T"? Is it only to get the Wheel further away from the consol? It has nothing to do inside the consol as far as cable routing does it?

As near as I can tell, there shouldn't be any difference (though there is a QC, or quick connect scheme out there that might use a different cable end - dunno.)

Might poke around of the Teleflex website and see if the cables are all the same for the various helms. Should tell you if they're interchangeable or not.

Luck;
