Seized Outboard

How easy is it to free-up an fourstroke outboard that has run with no oil?

Its a 4hp mariner 4 stroke and is a couple of years old. I havn't had a proper look at it, but I can't turn it over with the recoil.

Its not worth me replacing pistons etc as its easier to strip it for spares and replace it with a new engine.

I drained the oil, and it was used by someone else the next day, they didnt notice the warning light, it ran for 20min before seizing. I should have left a note on it!

Don't bother-the whole engine will be shot.

Cheers Nos

What I expected to hear. Just needed reassurance before breaking up a practically new engine. Ah well, barrus will be happy.
