tommy hi

i bought a 13 3/4 17pitch stainless solus titan d yesterday we can play with, i personnally think a 22 is way to big, the titan has more surface area and better cupping which gives the prop better grip in the routh stuff BUT it will still drop my revs by 400 rpm, i was told that the RNLI dropped from 17" to 15" pitch on these props and found acceleration grip and top end all improved, because they achieved there max rpm again.

if you put a 22" pitch prop on to yours it would most likely drop top end and effect acceleration. its complicated.

assuming the next couple of days go well for me (fitting tubes) we will have to swap and change our props espeacially as your boat is a different design and weight to mine (whole new set of rules)

Lastly the company i purchased my solus from said if it is not quite right they will reprofile to 15" or 19" for a norminal fee, so worth looking at

talk to you over next week.. ian
