Hi Mark,

I advertised them for £60....really can't remember how much they were when I bought them (for side mount.....went top mount in the end).

Obviously postage will be a few quid...will look into postage on Tues and let you know what it would be.....

PM me if you have had a quote for them....happy to sell them for less as they are no use to me!!

Dan

Fine, but had been thinking about possibility of using boat for tuition....there's no lock /button between gears like the side mount so could be abused /could crash gears potentially.....only criticism really...

Hi Mark,

i've got the cables out....

They aren't listed as Gen 1 or 2 i'm afraid....but they are for a 2008 Opti side mount box....so sure they are correct.

The part no. is 850716-A Series and they are both 16 foot long....can anyone else confirm if these are correct?

Thanks

Dan

As Ian mentioned in a previous post, GEN1 work in the standard side mount control box and GEN 2 are for the top mount and recessed side mount control boxes.

BTW, I have a pair of brand new, boxed GEN 2 cables here if anyone's interested. They're Teleflex, 15 feet long - open to offers.

At the risk of sounding thick...can't find any ref to Gen I or II on the boxes mate....

They defo fit the side mount I have so assume they must be Gen I...

Cheers, Dan....

That is a standard Gen 1 cable and will fit side mounts but that part no should have two more numbers on the end which tell you cable lenght.
i.e 850716A16 would be 16ft but you may be asking a bit much for them @ £60 + p&p Dan

Full RRP on them in only £25.70 each

hi dan i will have to get the tape measure out and get back to you, i was going to run them into the console and through the underdeck trunking, but the tank i have bought that fits the console may be a snug fit inside the console and the bends might be too tight, i may end up running the control cables across the deck and then 16ft will be too long.
i will have a trial fit of a few things and get back to you, thanks, mark.
