I do have one but it's from a newer 90hp. Cannot do anything until after January now though.

Have you seen this one just listed on eBay - cheap but not the best condition

Agreed

not necessarily!

No worries. Agreed an exact one off the same vintage Merc will be the easiest option. As I found, finding one gets a liittle more interesting!

Haha yes, finding one is going to be very tricky indeed. I will take some pictures and try and post them on here so you can see the bulky-ness of this motor.

That's the one... The 90 had the same bracket and mid-section I believe. After Jan is fine...

I did look at the Yam but the exhaust and passageways wouldn't match surly?

Thanks

Many thanks

Here what I have found so far

Removed from a 2003 merc 90 2 stroke. Looks to be missing top mount and fixing bolts. Can go mid-section only or with PTT system & transom bracket. Lower Mounts look good

Any good ?

Hi. Yeah that's the same as the one I have here. Shame it's not complete... The thing is, most of the parts for this engine are back-ordered and hard to get hold of. So i'd still need to get the bottom and top mount brackets... And by the looks of it the PH extension gasket... I will keep looking for a complete unit. But may come back to you for this. Thanks so much for your help though Pete.

Julian.

No problems. It's not going anywhere. Thought may be possible for you to make one from two. The lower mounts are on it though. It's just the top that's missing. I'm sure I've another somewhere but it's hiding well

Good idea, but the one I have here really has had it's day... Need a complete donor mid-section really.
