Mercury 100hp efi 4 stroke

Have a 2006 one of these on the boat i just bought.

Just wondering whats the situation if theres a fault?

On my Suzuki DF140 when i turned on the key i had 4 lights water temp, oil etc and an alarm sounded but with the Mercury there is nothing like this.

When a problem occurs heating, oil pressure etc what is the warning?

I have a 2006 Optimax and when I turn the ignition on there is an alarm, which stops when the engine fires up. Fault warnings come up in the small windows at the bottom of the gauges or if smartcraft is used, also shown on the chartplotter.

We have a 2007 115 EFi and get the same sounds as 250kts (we also have smartcraft gauges) - I can have a look in the hengine destruction manual tonight if that might help?
